Cookie Notice
This site sets no cookies at all. It keeps two things in your browser’s own storage, and this page is the whole list.

There are no cookies
Nothing on this site writes a cookie: not for a session, not for a preference, not for measurement. There is no login to keep, no basket to remember and nothing being counted, so there is no work for a cookie to do.
What is kept instead
Four entries in localStorage, your browser’s own store. All are written on this domain and read only by this site:
punbit.theme— the light or dark setting. Written when you press NIGHT; kept until you clear it.dendi.scores.<issue>— up to ten of your own runs on one cartridge (score, in-game time, when it ended). Written when a run finishes; kept until you clear it.punbit.playmode— where an issue’s player opens: over the story, or beside it. Written when you pick one; kept until you clear it.punbit.reelhint— one flag, set once the phone player has told you it swipes from one game to the next, so it only says so once.
That is the complete list. None is sent to a server, shared with anyone, or used to recognise you — and there is no server here to send them to.
Why there is no consent banner
Consent is what storage needs when it is not necessary for the thing the reader actually asked for: measurement, advertising, profiling, anything passed to a third party. This site does none of it. A theme you toggled yourself, a scoreboard only you can see and two notes on how you like the player laid out are the feature you used, and they stay on your machine. A banner asking permission for those would be theatre — and it would be the only thing on the site collecting anything from you.
How to clear it
Clearing site data for this domain removes all four entries. In Chrome, Edge or Firefox: the icon at the left of the address bar → cookies and site data → delete. In Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data. A private or incognito window throws the storage away when you close it.
The site works the same afterwards. It simply opens in the light theme, the player goes back to opening over the story, and your scoreboard starts again.
If this ever changes
If anything that measures readers is ever added, this page changes before it ships, and anything not strictly necessary is asked for rather than assumed. The date at the top says when this was last true.
